Although it doesn’t look like it at first glance, this is a game of the AlQuerques family, and has been called “Checkers on a Wheel.” Average playtime is 20 minutes.
The origins of the game are vague, but it most certainly was a product of Medieval India. It was described by H.J.R. Murray in A History of Board-Games Other Than Chess (1952) and categorized with Lau Kata Kati, Dash-Guti, and other Indian military games. A larger version was known as Gol-Skuish.
Made in the USA for two players age 6+.
