This activity kit produces paper icosadodecahedrons (soccer balls!) from folded circles. Paper circles are not included, but regular paper plates are perfect for this activity, inexpensive and readily available. Once 20 modular components are folded and combined with either tape or glue you have a paper soccer ball approx. 9" in diameter. The booklet provides suggestions for other ways the circles can be combined or re-formed into new structures. Inspired by Buckminster Fuller's circle-folding (derived from his Froebel Kindergarten education) this Wholemovement™ kit is an introduction to a complete system of holistic geometric paperfolding. For ages 7+ (or anyone capable of folding a circle in half). ISBN 978-0-9766773-7-6 Paperback. 12pp. Printed in the USA.
